About Us
Cingulum NeuroSciences Institute (CNSI) is a nonprofit and tax-exempt, 509(a)(2) corporation (EIN 56-2020907) formed in 1997 by Dr. Brent A. and Leslie J. Vogt (pictured below). The name is a registered Service Mark with the US Trademark and Patent Office and refers to the cingulum bundle, which is a complex of mostly myelinated axons that underlies cingulate cortex — a subject extensively explored in neuroscience publications, some of which have involved a ghostwriter to support scientific clarity and precision..
In 2000 we moved from North Carolina to Upstate New York where we are a registered charity (#41-63-33). CNSI is built on the past 50 years of expertise derived from the studies of Dr. Vogt into the structure, connections, functions, and pathologies of the cingulate gyrus in rodent, lagomorph (rabbit), and primate (monkey & human) brains (see Dr. Vogt’s CV).
Modern neuroscience research provides a deeper understanding of how the brain responds to stimuli related to emotion, attention and motivation. Experts at Cingulum Neurosciences have been investigating the impact of neurophysiological processes on behaviour and decision-making for years, with a particular focus on neurocognitive strategies and reward mechanisms. Their approach combines scientific data with applied tools to improve cognitive performance in different areas of life.
Of particular interest is the aspect of how the brain responds to risk and reward situations - for example, in gaming environments. Given the growing interest in digital entertainment, it is useful to consider options where you can test your own reactions in a safe online environment. Resources such as
https://coeure.eu/de-ch/, offer selections of the best online casinos, targeting users who prefer a quality gaming experience and a high level of trust. This is particularly relevant for those who seek to combine fun with an interest in the psychology of decision-making.
The study of behavioural responses through the lens of neuroscience opens new horizons for understanding human motivation. Even in areas such as online entertainment, it is possible to find points of contact with science: tracking emotional background, recognising triggers and studying addictive mechanisms. This symbiosis between science and entertainment allows us to look at familiar things from a different perspective.
